Katy’s VFW park is nestled among many large oak trees and is shady most of the time. This park has a large covered picnic pavilion, barbecue pits and tables scattered throughout the park, and an area featuring playground equipment.. A ball field is located just east of the VFW Hall and can be used by the public.

This is my kids' favorite park. We're almost always the only ones there so they think it's all theirs. I personally like the climbing "rope mountain".
