Vietnamese Mid-Autumn Festival at The Children's Museum of Houston

The Vietnamese Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the most exciting and popular holidays for Vietnamese families. It’s also called the “Children’s Festival” and it’s celebrated when the moon is the brightest in the fall. Parents use this holiday as an opportunity to show their love and appreciation for their kids.

Join us as we follow tradition and pay tribute to children and the Vietnamese community with a daylong festival in celebration of Tet-Trung-Thu.

This celebration coincides with the opening of Dragons and Fairies: Viet Nam Through Folktales, an exhibit created by the Children's Museum of Houston which celebrates Vietnamese culture and heritage.

Date: October 10, 2009
Time: 10am-6pm
Admission: $7
