The annual Katy Rice Harvest Festival parade will be held Saturday, Oct 3, 2009 in historic downtown Katy.

Tom Zizka, Fox 26 morning news anchor, will serve as the parade grand marshal. Among the entries will be the Katy Cowgirls, a horse-drawn carriage with dogs, Miss Teen –Texas World and the National American Miss, a World War II military fire truck plus floats and entries.

The parade lineup begins at 9 a.m. Saturday in the Church of Christ parking lot located at Fifth Street and East Ave. The parade will begin at 10am and go down Ave A to Second Street, over to Avenue C and up to 10th Street.
