Looking for a morning of fun (and AC) this summer? Look no further. Free/Cheap summer movie time is here!

Several theaters in the Katy area offer summer movie camps. (Make sure you show up early because most showings sell out quickly and getting seats together can be a bit tricky.)

Theaters in and around Katy:

• AMC Summer Movie Camp - $1 movies for charity, Wednesdays at 10am.
• Cinemark Summer Movie Clubhouse - Ten weeks of kids movies on weekday mornings. All ten movies can be purchases in advance for $5 (total) or you can purchase tickets for each show at the box office for $1/each.
• Studio Movie Grill- $1 child, $2 adult Monday-Thursday at 11:00am.
• Edwards Cinema - Select G & PG movies start at 10AM each Tuesday and Wednesday. Admission is free. You can check the movies as well as a list of locations, dates, and times by selecting "Texas" and then clicking on "Marq*E Stadium 23 & IMAX"

A snack pack is available at AMC for $3 and includes a kid's size drink, popcorn, and candy. Snacks at the movies can be expensive so consider taking small snacks with you to appease those hungry tummies.
