When the weekend comes sometimes it's just fun to get out and do something fun (and free!) with your Katy family. Fortunately, Katy offers free fun all around town... and some are even during the week!

Better yet, assign each family member a week and let him/her decide what free activity the family will do together. Everyone has a chance to choose and most likely your family will have an opportunity to experience all of them eventually.

Free Bike Rides- 8am Saturdays
Open Trails at The Katy Prairie Conservancy- 1st Sunday of each month and Friday mornings
City of Katy Market Days- every 3rd Saturday in downtown Katy
Historic Home Tours- 1st weekend of each month
Buffalo Soldiers Museum- Mondays
Toddler Time and Bible Stories- 10-12pm Chick fil A Mason Rd Mondays, Cinco Ranch Thursdays
Houston Museum of Natural Science- Tuesdays after 2pm
Chick fil A Family Nights- 5-8pm, Tuesdays Cinco Ranch. Wednesdays Mason Rd.
Pajama Night Storytime- 7pm, Thursdays. Cinco Ranch Library
Children's Museum- 5-8pm Thursdays
The Health Museum- 2-5pm Thursdays
The Weather Museum- 12-4pm Thursdays
Museum of Fine Arts- 10-9pm Thursdays
The Houston Zoo- Free after 2pm on the first Tuesday of each month
