Sitting down and eating together contributes to the kids talking about their friends and their activities, plans get hashed out, minor problems get discussed. Studies show that families who eat 2 or meals per week and talk together reduce teen pregnancy and drug abuse. It doesn't mean its full proof but every little bit helps. report abuse
