Houston Keynote Speaker: Colin Beavan, author of "No Impact Man" The Houston Community GreenFest is day-long celebration and is part of the week-long GreenWeek Houston events.

Houston Community GreenFest activities will include locally sourced food, two stages of live music, a petting zoo, art exhibits, farm activities, yoga demonstrations, a live worm farm, family-friendly entertainment, composting and recycling workshops and informational presentations about food security, farming and the 5th Ward Urban Food Belt. Locally, this event is presented by Houston Green Scene, Emerging Professionals of the U.S. Green Building Council Texas Gulf Coast Chapter, the Last Organic Outpost, Houston Advanced Research Center and Magnolia Sky Communications.
