Hoar Construction is picking up the tab to sponsor the festivities that will be staged in the Heritage Square central courtyard. This free event, which runs from 5 to 10 p.m., includes live entertainment and a fireworks show.

If you go, you can bring picnic baskets, blankets and lawn chairs but you cannot bring outside alcoholic beverages. Additional parking is available across the street at Cinco Ranch High School.
