This is the ninth year the Early Childhood Development Center has sponsored theirFall Family Festival that caters to preschoolers and their families. Approximately 500 people attend each year, including ECDC families and others from the Katy community. The ECDC festival is one of the more affordable fall events in Katy, with tickets for activities costing $1 each. Tickets may be purchased at a discount on Oct. 9 and 16 at the Children's Information Desk before and after the 9:45 a.m. worship services. Tickets also will be available at the door. Proceeds from the festival benefit ECDC and go toward enrichment materials and classroom and playground improvements.

This year Student Ministries is providing student volunteers to help with the games and activities. Children will enjoy a pony carousel, petting zoo, train ride and a fire truck as well as inflatables, games, face painting, and family friendly music. There also will be a cake walk and bake sale, and cotton candy and snow cones available. James Coney Island also will have food for sale (cash only).
