Children’s Museum of Houston to give moms free admission on Mother’s Day

WHAT: Mom knows best!  You are invited to pay tribute to your mom’s year-round unconditional love and dedication this Mother’s Day at the Children's Museum of Houston (CMH)! We want to help you celebrate your mama with fun-filled activities for the whole family.   All moms will receive free admission to the Museum, so long as they come with their kids.

LED Mommy Bling: Pearls, rubies and diamonds are nice, but if you really want your Mommy bling to have zing, make it glow! Come to Inventors’ Workshop and create your own jewelry pieces for your mom that incorporates LEDs into the design while learning how they work.
Mommy Makeover: Channel your inner fashion designer and come dress up your mom in your designs at our special version of CMH’s Project Fashionista—using stuff you can find!
Picture Perfect: Say cheese! Make a special frame at Junktion to showcase your favorite picture of you and your mom.
Fanciful Flowers: You can never go wrong with a bouquet of flowers for mom, especially if you make them yourself! Head to Junktion to create the perfect bouquet with mom in mind.

MUSEUM HOURS: Tues. – Sat.; 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.; Sun: Noon – 6 p.m.
Second Saturday of every month open at 9 a.m. for members.
Moms enter free on Mother’s Day!  Included with general Museum admission: $8 per person and $7 for seniors 65+. Children under one and Museum Members receive free admission.
Free Family Night every Thursday 5 – 8 p.m.
