Perhaps Houston’s most well-loved event of the entire year takes place this weekend. Of course we mean the Art Car Parade, that progression of foil-covered, painted-over, oddly-shaped mobile objects, and this year’s Grand Marshall is none other than Dan Aykroyd (yes, the Blues Brother). Cars will begin lining up along Allen Parkway at 9am and begin to move at 1pm. Show up early to wander through the cars, meet the artists and snag a good seat.
