Kids Caring for Kids is holding a raffle on May 15th with many cool things to give away.  Some of the items donated by sponsors are Autographed Basketball by the Houston Rockets, Autographed Books: Three Cups of Tea and Stones into Schools by author Greg Mortenson, Pei Wei food certificates, Katy Miniature Golf and Batting Cages Party Gift Certificate, and much more!  Tickets are $5.

Who are Kids Caring for Kids?  

They are a kid empowered division of a nonprofit organization that was founded to raise money for HIV/AIDS orphans in Northeast Thailand. 100% of funds we raise provide over 200 orphans with food, shelter, clothing, medicine, and an education.

Kids Caring For Kids was started by Allison and Nicholas Carpenter. Ally is a 5th grader and Nick is a 2nd grader at Williams Elementary in Katy, Texas. Here is what they have to say:

Nick: “We are so lucky to have parents who love us and take care of everything we need. “… we want to help the orphans by raising money and letting them know that other kids care.”

Ally: “The more kids who join our group to help raise money, the more that we will be able to help these kids in Thailand. Every little bit counts.”

We are a division of Friends of Sarnelli House, a non profit 501 (c) exempt organization that exclusively supports the Sarnelli House orphanage in Northeast Thailand. www.sarnelliorphanage.org. Fr. Mike Shea has been caring for the orphans at Sarnelli House since 1999.
