WHAT: Movement is a key part of our daily life. Cool Moves: the Artistry of Motion is a new exhibit which will have you moving in ways you never thought you would. Come and learn about the different elements which let us move everyday and discover how balance and movement affect all different types of objects.

• Artistry of Balance: Experiment with the elements of balance while constructing mobiles.
• Ping Pong Ball Game: Use balance to keep the ball from falling in the holes.
• Fly a Kite: Create your own kite and learn the right model to fly the smoothest.
• Exploration in Motion: This series of hands-on experiments will give you an introduction to motion, gravity, friction, energy transformation, and Isaac Newton’s laws of motion.
• Pinwheel: Come create your own pinwheel toy and watch what happens when the wind blows. Thursday, September 17: 6 pm – 7:45 pm
• Freak in the Frame: Spotlight Performance. This musical trio will engage you with beautiful melodies and freestyle raps complete with acoustic guitar and live bongo drumming. Thursday, September 17: 6:30 pm, Saturday, September 19: 2 pm
