The Harris County HazMobile unit will be in Katy. The HazMobile is a collection system that can accommodate household hazardous waste (HHW) from approximately 125 households. HHW will be collected on a first come first serve basis until the unit reaches full capacity. The containers must be 5 gallon size or less. Items accepted include: pesticides & fertilizers, paint related products, household cleaners, fuel & antifreeze, pool chemicals, glues & solvents, used oil & filters, thermometers, and batteries.
