Dr. Albert Einstein to serve as honorary judge

WHAT: The thrilling competition of mixed creativity and engineering that gives children a chance to patent an idea for free, is back! Children from Kindergarten through Eighth Grade will take imagination to the next level. They compete to show off their creativity—inventions of household materials—to judges from the fields of engineering and inventing. Come and see who may be the next Thomas Edison!

EVENT LINE-UP:

* Inventors Showcase Competition: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. in the Kid’s Hall.
Judging: 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Albert Einstein Appearance: 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Final Judging: 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.
Awards Ceremony: 2:30 – 3 p.m. in the Brown Auditorium.

Come see who gets the Grand Prize of a full-paid patent application, meet the finalists and hear words of encouragement for all future inventors!

Free Family Night every Thursday 5 – 8 p.m.

* Included with general Museum admission: $7 per person and $6 for seniors 65+. Children under one and Museum Members receive free admission.
