The Gulf Coast Chapter of the Train Collectors Association will hold a toy train meet. Association members will compete for honors such as the best old trains and best modern era. The event draws model train aficionados from numerous parts of Texas and Louisiana.

Admission is $6 for adults (14 or older), $9 for families. Children under age 14 will be admitted free if accompanied by an adult.

Activities: refreshments, door prizes, train raffle, engine derby races, plus the buying and selling of trains. The show will feature four operating trains. Two are hands-on for children to operate and they will be given train buttons, hats, and other info about the club.
