I thought it was very interesting.

If you see this lady turning in clockwise,
you are using your right brain.
If you see it the other way, you are using left brain.
Some people do see both ways, but most people see it only one way.
See if you can make her go one way and then the other by shifting the brain's current.
BOTH DIRECTIONS CAN BE SEEN
Experimentation has shown that the two different sides,
or hemispheres, of the brain are responsible for different
manners of thinking. The following table illustrates the
differences between left-brain and right-brain thinking:
Left Brain Right Brain
Logical Random
Sequential Intuitive
Rational Holistic
Analytical Synthesizing
Objective Subjective
Looks at parts Looks at wholes
Most individuals have a distinct preference for one of these
styles of thinking. Some, however, are more whole-brained
and equally adept at both modes. In general, schools tend to
favor left-brain modes of thinking, while downplaying the
right-brain ones.
Left-brain scholastic subjects focus on logical thinking, analysis,
and accuracy.
Right-brained subjects, on the other hand, focus on aesthetics,
feeling, and creativity.

As summer approached, I had visions of my husband and I having a date night. Leisurely eating a hot meal (normally mine is cold) and talking about something important instead of just the daily stuff of running a family. Maybe I could even wear something nice without having someone wipe their nose or hands on me. Yes, these are my dreams.
During the school year our sitters are so busy with school related activities that we rarely find one to watch our kids. Well, summer is here and we are still having a difficult time finding a sitter. With vacations, youth trips, mission trips, VBS programs, and the fact that they actually have a life, we still have not been out alone.
I recently came across a website called SitterCity. It was like heaven opened up and dropped me a gift! They have databases of sitters for children, pets, and even for the elderly. I'm probably the pickiest person when it comes to who watches my children but this company has rigorous guidelines that all sitters must have before qualifying. They don't just take anyone... their business is at stake if they did.
Dreams do come true!
