January Cause of the Month at Kosmos Coffee: Homelessness

Homelessness- War, poverty, famine, displacement…even foreclosure. All can leave people without shelter. We often dream of a “place to call home” and yet some live without even a roof over their heads. Whether homeless in America, or a refugee in a war torn country, we desire to help those who help shelter the homeless.

Local: Star of Hope
Star of Hope is a Christ-centered community dedicated to meeting the needs of homeless men, women and their children. Positive life changes are encouraged through structured programs which focus on spiritual growth, education, employment, life management and recovery from substance abuse.

Global: World Vision
World Vision is a Christian relief, development and advocacy organization dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice.

Inspired by our Christian values, we are dedicated to working with the world’s most vulnerable people. We serve all people regardless of religion, race, ethnicity or gender.
